Mission & Vision

"Mens sana incorpore sano."
(Your prayer must be for a sound mind in a sound body) - Juvenal

"The part can never be well unless the whole is well."
 – Plato

"The power of love to change bodies is legendary, built into folklore, commonsense, and everyday experience. Love moves the flesh; it pushes matter around...Throughout history 'tender loving care' has uniformly been recognized as a valuable element in healing."

 - Larry Dossey, M.D.

Nashville Colon Care's mission is:
To provide colon hydrotherapy that is comfortable, cleansing, and calming to the greater Nashville community.

Nashville Colon Care's vision is:
Intestinal cleansing in a pristine, hygienic environment that allows a client the opportunities afford when working with an experienced staff and certified therapists. Since demand for our services is high, we would like to offer extended hours and weekend appointments beginning in the summer of 2009.

About the Founder:
Michele R. Jones holds an MTS degree from Vanderbilt University and is a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist. After a severe bout with mononucleosis in graduate school, Michele found that colon hydrotherapy played the largest role in her recovery. Michele understands how financially, physically, and emotionally "overwhelming" it can be to rebuild health again from the inside out.

Michele recognizes that there is an "order" to wellness and that each person has individual needs requiring individualized attention. In sharing her knowledge of digestive wellness and colon hygiene, Michele is mindful of making knowledge accessible for the client to understand and apply within their daily lives. She believes: "all health, learning, and healing comes from within each individual via our Creator." She works well in assisting clients who chose to be vegan, vegetarians, raw foodists, or carnivores.

Michele was privileged to mentor with the best of the best in Nashville and came under the tutelage of her mentor Cannon Lee Hearn in the summer of 2004 and studied with her for a bit over a year and she has practiced colon hydrotherapy since that time.
