What Should I Eat Before and After Colon Hydrotherapy?
Before Your Session
Many people assume they should fast before colon hydrotherapy, but that is not necessary. In fact, your digestive tract works best when it is gently active. Before your session, choose foods that are light, natural, and easy to digest.
A good example is grilled fish with vegetables or a fresh salad. Avoid heavy carbohydrates, processed foods, or rich sauces that can weigh you down. The goal is to arrive with your system calm but not empty.
After Your Session
After a session, your body is clean, hydrated, and more receptive to nutrients. Choose fresh, whole foods to replenish your system. Soups, smoothies, steamed vegetables, and proteins such as chicken, tofu, or fish are great options.
Avoid processed foods, caffeine, and alcohol for at least 24 hours. Your body will be more sensitive to what you put into it, and alcohol in particular may feel stronger than usual.
Replenish and Rebalance
This is also a wonderful time to restore electrolytes. Try coconut water, green juice, or hydrating fruits like watermelon or pineapple. These foods naturally support recovery and help you feel refreshed.
